Homeboy
I was just flipping through the latest issue of Country Living (because that's how I like to rock on Hump Night), and was shocked (!) to see my "Uncle" Mike's gorgeous house featured! Well...uncle's how I always knew him, but to get technical - he's my mom's best friend and my brother's godfather.
No stranger to house press, he, Mike is an amazing craftsman whose restoration of this 1787 Federal in Connecticut also has been in Martha Stewart Living twice. I've seen it myself, and the house as well as the the back outdoor entertaining area, pond and waterfall are all absolutely stunning.
The article isn't online, but I found pictures of the property here. Be sure to click through the link for more pictures on the next page. Apparently it's up for grabs for $3,150,000 so, you know, time to sell some stuff on ebay and get your financials in order.
