Text of letter received (along with wallpaper swatches) from Tapenten der 70er:
Dear Ms Nee*y,in principle the view of our sample wallpapers does not mean a risk to health. For reasons of caution you should neveretheless use the wallpapers masured. After all, to switch from simple ingrain wallpapers to the patterns from the 70s is comparable with changing from VW Golf to Ford Mustang. Maybe you will lose ground by watching our overwhelming wallpapers.
Now all jokes aside!
Enclosed you will receive your order of wallpaper samples. As a result of the oversized patterns regrettably only a small cutout can be shown. The out of ordinary surfaces and the partly infatuation beautiful colors will make you crazy about our wallpapers. Doesn't this just make your heart go pitter-pat-THADUMP? It's GENIUS on many, many levels. Including, but not limited to, the German/American car analogy. And the use of the phrase "partly infatuating." My GOD, I need a bratwurst. And a dirndl.
So support copywriting of the flagrantly bizarre ilk and send any 1970's wallpaper business that's-a percolatin' in your cozy little nest their way. Who knows? A letter that seems to have been authored by a monkey on too many - or perhaps not enough - Psilocybin mushrooms might too end up in your mailbin. One can always dream.
