Moving Schmoving

I have so many extraordinarly useless drapery panels, I'm thinking of opening up a kiosk on the side of the highway.

Everything else, though? A-OK. Move went swimmingly, thanks to the muscular ministrations of a group of miscreants that showed up on my doorstep at 10 a.m. on a Saturday morning. In no surprise to bystanders, Rick proved himself VIP of operations by excusing me from the torment of trying to secure a U-Haul truck. It's hard for me to put into words the mood I was in, standing in this line at 9:30 a.m. - having been awake since 7 with NO coffee - and watching these unbelievable dipshits try to manage standing upright, much less renting out trucks. The bad news? They had GIVEN MINE AWAY. The good news? Rick finagled a pick-up and trailer and we worked it like the pro's we are.

U-Haul blows.
Pass a pint of Penske.

Anys, things continue apace as they always do. I don't have any lights upstairs and had to give my boxspring away to Andrea as there was no way it was fitting up the stairwell but these are details, son! Details!

More TK, as they say. I have to go dig up my workout stuff out of the 14-er of clothes on my bedroom floor and hit the gym for the first time since the late 80s. Should be sweet. I'll be the red-faced one covered in puke.
