Ahoy, Hoy!
News of late:
1. I get to go to an AV'S game (that's hockey...er...I think) on Thursday. Excitaments. For someone who doesn't follow professional sports at all beyond the occasional nag sprint, I absolutely love going to games of all sorts. Must be the beer.
2. Painters are HOT. And COOL. And invited me over "after your run" to check out a house on Wash Park they're doing to get some color ideas. Mrrrrawhhh.
That's all.
Things continue apace here. A guest bedroom mattress and box spring has been purchased. Lighting fixtures are arriving daily. Course I haven't even started packing, but my ceilings are done and the housekeepers are coming tomorrow morning so things should start rolling after that. I've also eaten down my food and used up my toiletries to the point where I had a frozen shrimp for breakfast and washed my hair with dish soap.
Also? My friend Liz interruped my six p.m. Americano mission last night with a call from Sydney. Seems she and Nick have got a two-bedroom place with a view of the water. To bypass the impracticality of even considering this, I'm making a firm decision: I'm DEFINITELY hitting that up come September.
