I had some major shopping success yesterday including, but not limited to, stumbling onto a Loehman's with $10 Earnest Sewn and PDC Dungarees (say whaaaaa? Natch, none were long enough, but still! Impressed!). Walked away from my truncated day in the budget racks - as well as the Nordstroms - with two cheapass Rebecca Beeson Ts, piles of long-sleeve shirts, a black hoodie (mmmm!), smashing denim shorts (which sound utterly terrible but truly are the best things EVER), and a couple pounds of Illy coffee from World Market. Taste-o.
But the BEST part?! The Chanel Rouge Double Intensite Ultra Wear Lip Colour (the "u" is for "uro") waiting on my doorstep from the Gloss.com. I bought it in Mandarin Coral, which is a CRRRAZY choice given the ghostly with a hint of sallow pallor I like to rock, but it is totally flattering! I am smitten.
This particular product was recommended by Allure as a kickass lipstick/gloss combo that stays on for ages and the colour was said to be rather becoming on all. Though I haven't worn it for longer than it took me to dance around my apartment in glee before collapsing in post-cosmetic-coitus exhaustion, trust your Bree - if it looks good on me, it'll look good on you. Go for broke, kiddadas.
