Wheels on the Road Keep on Turning
As alluded to previously, I'm heading to Santa Fe tomorrow morning for a brief shopping/art/photography/margaritas with Milstein sojourn before the weather turns all sortsa snowy. While researching what towns I'd pass through on the drive south, I came across this little piece of providence about Las Vegas ("No, not that Las Vegas") New Mexico:
"Las Vegas was the real-world town used to represent the fictional setting of Calumet, Colorado in John Milius' 1984 film Red Dawn. As of 2005, many of the buildings and structures seen in the film remain."
