Super Talkie
I've had people recommending I see Michael Winterbottom's "24 Hour Party People" for years. Yet I stubbornly refused, with my unfounded reluctance clocking in at equal parts "Winterbottom" and Macauley Culkin in a porny medic ensemble a la "Party Monster." Which is a completely different film. (Yes. This is how the mind works. When it comes to presupposed judgment based on nothing, it's not pretty. But you should see my renal function. Top notch.)
So. The point being? I watched it last night and my God! It was great.
Indeed! I'm about to watch the DVD extras! Which hasn't happened...ever. So, I know I'm 9 years behind on this one but if you haven't seen it - it has nothing to do with this:
