A Winner in our Midst

Fantastic news from the high-stakes world of New York City publishing! Brothers in Hope, a book about the Sudanese lost boys that Jenny conceived of, developed and edited, won the Coretta Scott King Honor Award for its illustrations. The CSK is the highest honor for a children's book specifically by an African American author or illustrator.

Take that, Frey, you big phony. You too, Leroy.

And, in yet another coup for lovers of literature, my beloved former company, Kensington Publishing Corp., has launched Aphrodisia, a new line of erotic romance serving the ever-growing "pirate-ship rape fantasy" submarket.

The pride is palpable, people. Palpable.
